Prost! Join us for a neighborhood Oktoberfest block party!
We’re taking over Norvell Street at Stockton, just half a block from Well Grounded, for an afternoon of German-inspired food, Festbier, music, games, and neighborhood fun.
Come hungry for bratwurst, Kevin’s homemade German Potato Salad, sauerkraut, and Squabisch pretzels. We’ll be pouring a great assortment of Oktoberfest beers, including Almanac Beer Co.’s Rocktoberfest, East Brother Beer Co.’s Festbier and Bo Pils, and Paulaner Oktoberfest Märzen from Germany.
And this isn’t just about the beer! We’ll have music, a festive photo wall with dress-up accessories, giant Jenga, giant Connect Four, and a Potato Relay Race with prizes. Bring the kids, bring the neighbors, and come hang out for the afternoon.
Musicians wanted! If you play accordion, tuba, polka music—or anything else that feels appropriately Oktoberfestive—bring your instrument and join in. We know El Cerrito is full of musicians, and we’d love some spontaneous neighborhood music.
