- Advertising /Promotional opportunities: We promote and publicize our members! Your organization or business programs and/or initiatives will get distributed in several ways; website, social media, the Byline and e-blasts.
- Networking Events: Evening mixers, lunch meetings and over in person and "virtual" events provide great opportunities to build professional relationships leading to more clients, customers and partners.
- Advocacy at City Hall: The Chamber Board works with City Staff and Council in support of local business interests. Attention is paid to local and state governmental issues and regulations that impact small business.
- Referrals: The Chamber receives inquiries from people looking for accountants to web designers and everything in between. We make a point to refer members first.
- Newsletter: The Byline is produced monthly by Chamber Directors and staff and is mailed monthly to over 200 members and interested individuals. Additional copies are distributed to City Hall and key locations in town. The digital copy is always available.
- Ribbon Cutting: The launch of a new El Cerrito business is a happy occasions as the Board Directors and City leaders come out to cut the red ribbon and support the new addition to the economic vitality.
- Professional Development: Meetings provide informative guest experts speaking on topics useful to business owners and occasional in-depth workshops are offered for additional learning opportunities.
- Public Image: Membership in the EC Chamber shows your public commitment to ongoing support of the local business and public community. Show your partnership and include the Chamber logo on your website!
