- Advertising /Promotional opportunities: We promote and publicize our members several ways: on our Shop Local page (not just for shopping) on our website, on social media, in the online and print editions of the El Cerrito Insider, and in email newsletters.
- Networking Events: Evening mixers, lunch meetings and over in person and "virtual" events provide great opportunities to build professional relationships leading to more clients, customers and partners.
- Advocacy at City Hall: The Chamber Board works with City Staff and Council in support of local business interests. Attention is paid to local and state governmental issues and regulations that impact small business.
- Referrals: The Chamber receives inquiries from people looking for accountants to web designers and everything in between. We make a point to refer members first.
- The Insider: The El Cerrito Insider is produced quarterly by the Chamber and free copies are available for pickup at City Hall and a selection of Chamber Member businesses. Copes are free and the digital copy is always available on our website under the News tab.
- Ribbon Cuttings: The launch of a new El Cerrito business is a happy occasions as the Board Directors and City leaders come out to cut the red ribbon and support the new addition to the economic vitality. We also do Ribbon Cuttings for Grand Re-openings.
- Professional Development: Educational events provide informative guest experts speaking on topics useful to business owners and occasional in-depth workshops are offered for additional learning opportunities.
- Public Image: Membership in the EC Chamber shows your public commitment to ongoing support of the local business and public community. Show your partnership and include the Chamber logo on your website!
